David holds academic post graduate qualifications in Business and Finance, Public Administration and Politics, and as well as certificates in Artificial Intelligence concept engineering, positioning him uniquely at the intersection of governance, technology, and public value creation. In February 2023, David made a deliberate decision to resign from public office to focus in personal mastery and health, innovation, civic education, entrepreneurship, and political leadership — driven by a desire to contribute more directly and impactfully to society.
“Markets must be organized, roads must be maintained, drainage must function — this is not luxury, it is leadership.” In a fast-growing capital like Lusaka, these are not optional improvements; they are the foundation of dignity, public health, and economic growth. Organized markets empower traders to work in safe, clean environments that attract customers and boost local revenue. Well-maintained roads reduce congestion, lower transport costs, and connect communities to jobs and services. Proper drainage prevents flooding, protects homes and businesses, and safeguards the city during the rainy season. True leadership at the Lusaka City Council level means prioritizing these basic but critical services, ensuring that governance delivers practical results that improve everyday life for every resident."
